Pot Field Lands Hiddenite Man In Jail

A Hiddenite man faces drug charges after officers found many marijuana plants on the land he occupied. On June 11, marijuana eradication was being conducted in Alexander County. The North Carolina Army National Guard and North Carolina State Highway Patrol were conducting the air operations. Several agencies were involved in the ground operations. Air operations spotted five different plots at the end of Rector Road off Mt. Wesley Church Road in the southeastern end of Alexander County. More than 650 marijuana plants were seized from the five plots spotted. The Sheriff's Office eventually charged 50 year old Timothy Rector of Rector Road with manufacturing marijuana
