An Odd Way to Clean Up

Two young women who were apparently trying to clean up their life picked an ironic way to do it -- by allegedly stealing the cleaning supplies. Sheriff deputies ticketed 20-year old Brittany Sabrina Caudill of Roaring River and 16-year old Brock Michelle Miller of Elkin after they were stopped by a clerk at the Dollar General on Highway 268 East Friday evening. The clerk told deputies that both Caudill and Miller had been seen putting the cleaning supplies in their purses, and they were stopped on the way out of the store after they didn't pay for the items. The stolen items include a box of SOS pads, a Lysol air freshener, a bottle of Febreze, two other air fresheners, a Stain Be Gone stick, and a bottle of Mr. Clean. Both have been banned form Dollar General following their citation for shoplifting.
