What is the Yadkin River Greenway?

For those who have lived in Wilkes for some time, the Yadkin River Greenway is something you've been hearing about for years. But there are always new people moving to the county, and our many online listeners may want to make time to experience it when they visit Wilkes. Bill Clifton calls the Greenway a true community park:





Clifton was a guest yesterday on the 3WC Focus on the Foothills Program, talking about the Greenway and its major fund raising event, the Turtle Regatta, which is next Saturday.
